I am not that great when it comes to following all the frugal rules. Here are a few things that I do that cost me more money than needed.
- I shop for the meal, not to plan. When I get home, I might go out and pick something up for dinner, not thinking about what I am going to eat the next day.
- I do not have a printer, or a newspaper subscription. When it comes to coupons, I rely on apps and catalinas. This limits my capabilities, but there are a lot of other ways to save, and Ibotta and Checkout 51 help me out.
- Saving is not my number one priority. Money is important, and it is needed to live. But there are a lot of things that are more important to me than saving.
How about you? What are your saving confessions?
